Local media did not cover boys high school volleyball. So, when I coached a team, I wrote a blog for seven years. It wasn't always about volleyball, especially as time went on. (psst...Check out "Team Volleyball Shoes--A Semifinal Story.")

*...uh... The Notes Department is free to everyone except the two auto mechanics who were supposed to be fixing my car windshield wipers but instead secretly took my car out for an 8 am donut run to the same place where I happened to be biting into my second chocolate creme-filled special when I saw them pull up with the stereo cranked up, walk in to order a few dozen donuts and coffee, then get back in the car and drive across the street to the McD's drive-thu and then head out onto the interstate, which explained the message I received telling me my car wouldn't be ready until "sometime after 4 pm."

Social Media

Occasionally I open up a few notebook pages* to share with friends, and then swirl the scribbles around the whirlpool of culture keepers on social media.
